Terms of use
These terms apply to the Novel Document Reader Chrome extension and its optional Premium features.
The service
Novel Document Reader is a browser extension that presents web-fiction text the user can already access in a configurable document workspace. It provides presentation and navigation tools; it does not provide, license, or sell third-party stories.
Acceptable use
You may use the extension only with content you are permitted to access and in compliance with applicable law and the terms of the source website. You may not use the extension to bypass authentication, payment, subscriptions, age restrictions, technical protection measures, or other access controls.
Premium purchase
Premium is offered as a one-time USD $4.99 digital purchase. It unlocks custom DOCX import and precise story insertion positions for the purchasing account, subject to successful payment confirmation through ExtensionPay and Stripe. Premium is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
Third-party services
The extension can interact with supported fiction websites at the user's request. Those websites, ExtensionPay, Stripe, and the Chrome Web Store operate under their own terms and privacy practices. References to third-party products do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Availability and changes
Website markup, browser behavior, or third-party service changes can affect extraction and chapter navigation. Features may be corrected, updated, or discontinued when reasonably necessary. No uninterrupted or error-free operation is promised.
Intellectual property
Novel Document Reader does not claim ownership of stories, documents, or images selected by users. Users retain responsibility for their content and permissions. The extension's original interface, code, and branding remain the property of their respective owner or licensors.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the extension is provided as available without warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
